Luther finished its Iowa Conference Duals schedule with a 33-11 victory over Simpson College. The Norse won seven matches picking up bonus points in five.
Connor Murphy (125) got things started with a tech fall over Jacob Irwin (19-3, 3:00). Cody Hanson (133) won by forfeit that gave the Norse an early 11-0 lead. Two matches later, Travis Ostby (149) recorded a fall over Anthony Derrick (2:01). Justin Kreiter (184) stayed perfect for the day recording a fall (1:03) over Noah Robinson. Matt Chlebek (197) followed with a major decision over Sam Mathis by a final of 10-2.
Javier Reyes (174) and Keenan Feldpausch (285) completed the Norse scoring with wins by decision.
The victory gives Luther an Iowa Conference record of 2-3, 6-7 overall. Simpson fell to 0-3 in the IIAC, 3-6 overall.
